President's Letter
End of Year 2023
Dear Current and Future BFF Partner:
As 2023 comes to an end, we at the Foundation would like to wish you and your loved ones, a Merry Christmas, and a blessed New Year.
This year we are so incredibly pleased to let you know that your donations allowed us to assist 28 students this school year. Several of our recipients had previously received awards in 2022. The need is great, and we are thankful to you for your generosity over the last few years. We received many thank you notes from the recipients and their parents. One in particular stands out for me. The student indicated that with the funds his mom was able to buy his uniforms and school supplies and now he is able to “attend school as a happy boy.”
Additionally, one of our members visited a few of the high schools this year and he met with some of the principals, counselors, and students. Next year, we plan to have an in-person award ceremony for scholarship recipients in Dominica.
