President's Letter

Dear Current and Future BFF Partner:

We hope that you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with your loved ones.   We at the foundation are grateful for your continued support.  We have had a successful year and the families that we have helped have again expressed their gratitude.  Some of the testimonials are on our website.

 

This year we are pleased to let you know that we supported 29 students (similar to 2024).   Three of those students are pursuing bachelor's degrees.   The remaining students are in high school.  This year we presented our 2nd annual community service award and our first top scholar award – an A+ student.

 

We also continued our quarterly zoom sessions with our students/parents and educators.  At the request of the parents, we had an additional session to discuss study habits and the impact of AI.

 

As in previous years we hope to continue to support our current group of students (providing that they still have a financial need and they are in good standing academically).  As students graduate from high school, we will continue to bring in new awardees. 

 

Thank you again for supporting our vision with your tax-deductible contributions. We aim to be good stewards of our resources.  Historically 95-99% of your donations go directly to the students.  Currently, one-year scholarships average $400 US per student.
